These Terms govern your use of BuyMeTokens (“BuyMeTokens”, “we”, “us”). By using BuyMeTokens, buying through it, or creating an account, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to them.
1. What BuyMeTokens is
BuyMeTokens sells prepaid AI usage. When you buy a credit pack, we provision AI credits — delivered through OpenRouter — to a designated recipient’s account so they can run AI models. “Tokens” refers to AI usage units (the way AI models meter text), not cryptocurrency: there is no coin, wallet, or blockchain involved, and nothing to trade or invest in. Recipients receive AI credits and usage only, never cash. We are not a bank, money transmitter, escrow service, gift-card or stored-value issuer, cryptocurrency service, or employer.
2. How payments work, our fee, and how you are paid
You expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- All supporter payments are received by BuyMeTokens first.When a supporter funds you, the money is collected into BuyMeTokens’ own account (through our payment processor). At no point do funds settle directly to you.
- BuyMeTokens retains a platform fee of 10% of each incoming payment amount. This fee is deducted from the gross amount the supporter pays.
- The remaining amount is delivered to you solely as OpenRouter credits / usage that we provision on your behalf. It is never paid to you as cash, a bank transfer, or any other monetary payout.
- Payment-processor fees and any applicable taxes may also be deducted before credits are provisioned.
- Credits have no cash value. They are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, or converted to money.
3. Credits and the OpenRouter service
Credits are usable through OpenRouter and are subject to OpenRouter’s availability, model selection, pricing, and terms. We do not control or guarantee specific models, prices, or uptime. Credits are provided on an “as available” basis.
4. Refunds and chargebacks
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, acting as merchant of record. Because credits are digital goods that are delivered instantly and can be consumed immediately, purchases are non-refundable once delivered, except for duplicate charges, non-delivery, or unauthorized transactions. If a payment is refunded, reversed, or charged back, we may revoke, reduce, or disable the corresponding credits, and you authorize us to do so to cover refunds, chargebacks, or suspected fraud.
5. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for your account security and for all content on your page, including your handle. One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts to evade fees or limits.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use BuyMeTokens and any credits lawfully and in compliance with OpenRouter’s acceptable-use policy. You may not resell credits, use the service for fraud or abuse, or solicit support for illegal or prohibited content.
7. Taxes
You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes that arise from the value you receive through the platform.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any level of support, earnings, or service availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuyMeTokens is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the platform fees we collected from you in the three months before the claim.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the service, or create legal or financial risk for the platform.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
